Our StudioOur studio began in Germany, 2008 when stationed overseas in the United States Army. The Cushmans began giving private music lessons to students in their home. When they moved back to the States, they continued their adventures in teaching music. After military separation, they settled in Spokane, WA, where they have run a studio out of their home since 2012. After buying a house in 2016, they now have dedicated studio space that includes two pianos, a drum set, and a recording set-up.
In our upstairs, we have an extended upright Knabe. In the piano music room, there is a Roland digital piano with weighted keys, and a Yamaha digital. |
Doniell has been composing music since she could play. Her very first performable work is titled Butterfly which was written when she was around 3 years old. Her first full symphonic piece is titled Journey to the Stars and was largely written between 2003 and 2005. There are 5 movements for a 13 instrument orchestra, and modern elements such as a verbal "countdown" are included in the music.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Seattle, Doniell is a well rounded musician with piano, flute, piccolo, clarinet, alto saxophone and some percussion under her belt. She believes that music should be accessible to the average person, and strives to make it a convenience rather than a luxury. Doniell's passions lie in experiences and the seeking of knowledge. Some of her favorite genres include Sacred, Baroque, and Theatrical. Doniell's hobbies include travel, literature, crafting, and writing. |
